7. Naha to Amami - 25 May 2004

	Okinawa: note airport below

Another longish flight over water, 174 nm, so I took a slightly faster plane, the Beechcraft King Air 350. I had forgotten how quickly the King Air climbs!

I was flying at 7,500 ft, so I had clearer skies above me and a more cheerful outlook for most of the flight as I passed over Okinawa, with its many airports, and the islands en route to Kakoshima.

Apparently out of practice with the King Air, as I was three or four thousand feet too high when I reached Amami airport. I circled around, and now found myself too low. Landing was undistinguished and uneventful.
